The rules
How to play
TTQuiz is a live quiz you play in the comments. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. Find the stream, watch the question, comment your letter.
1. Thirty questions in fifteen minutes
Every quiz is exactly thirty questions long and runs for a fifteen-minute slot. A new quiz begins on the hour, at quarter past, at half past and at quarter to, every hour of every day.
2. Four options, one answer
Each question offers four options, labelled A, B, C and D. The host reads the question, then the answer window opens.
3. Comment your answer
Post a single letter in the comments while the window is open. Answers are accepted for ten seconds from the moment the window opens and are closed the instant it ends.
4. Your first answer counts
Only your first answer to each question is recorded. Later comments on the same question are ignored, so answer once and answer carefully.
5. TT Points
Correct answers earn TT Points. Your points, correct answers and completed quizzes build up over time into a permanent record.
6. Standings and ties
Leaderboards are ordered by TT Points, then by correct answers, then by quizzes completed. Players who match on all three share the same position.
7. Podium eligibility
To be eligible for a quiz podium you must have had a fair opportunity to compete: you need to have been present for a meaningful share of the questions and to have answered most of those available to you.
8. Join at any time
You do not need to be there at the start. Join mid-quiz and answer whatever is left; your answers still count towards your totals.
